Who We Are

Meet the Founder

Hello, my name is Eliane Menezes. I am the Founder and the Executive Director of Family School Together.

In 2004, as a mother of teenagers, I saw myself having the same needs and hopes as other families in my situation. I looked for added support to keep my children on the right path to finish school and for a program that could assist in that support. I was hoping for a program that motivates our youth to apply themselves to all aspects of their curriculum and encourages them to study harder for better grades. Unfortunately, I felt that it was economically impossible for families like mine. That’s when I had the idea to start FamilySchoolTogether. Today, December 1st, 2021, after almost 18 years, I get to wake up and have my dreams become a reality. I finally get to be the support I never had and assist in supporting families and high school students in need.

I am fortunate to have such a passionate team working beside me. We are devoted to helping the next generation start the domino effect of success for years to come. We want to be the support for these students and show them that with hard work, discipline, responsibilities, and respect for each other, they can reach their goals. My team and I want to show these students that if they continue down the right path, they can have a better life for not only themselves but for their families as well.

However, we cannot do this alone. For FamilySchoolTogether to achieve our goals, we will need YOUR help. Any form of support for our organization is welcomed and donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated.

We hope to be fortunate enough to gain your support. Let’s work as a team to be a glimpse of hope for our students and become the change we want to see in the world around us!

Regards,

Eliane Menezes
